Denise Gorondy
Denise Gorondy,  DVM

Dr. Denise Gorondy graduated from the Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. Following graduation, she completed an internship in equine medicine, surgery, and ambulatory services at Kansas State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital.

Dr. Gorondy has been practicing equine veterinary medicine in the central Virginia region for six years. The majority of her practice consists of lameness evaluations, performance horse medicine, and dentistry. Her advanced training in equine acupuncture and veterinary chiropractic care enhances her ability to evaluate performance related issues in all levels of equine athletes. Dr. Gorondy’s dedication to superior patient care allows her to cultivate longstanding client relationships.

In their spare time, Dr. Gorondy and her husband enjoy training for and competing in triathlons.

Daniel SlovisDaniel Slovis, DVM

Dr. Daniel Slovis graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in January of 2002. Following graduation, he entered an internship at Southwest Equine Medical and Surgical Center, a leading referral hospital in Scottsdale, Arizona.

After completion of his internship, Dr. Slovis began practicing in the central Virginia area. His professional interests include sport horse medicine and lameness, neonatology, and dentistry. He is actively involved with the local equine community, and has written articles for industry magazines.

During his spare time, he enjoys riding his horses, hiking in the mountains, and scenic photography.

Jennifer Wright

Jennifer Wright, DVM

Dr. Jennifer Wright graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine, Magna Cum Laude in 2001.

Following graduation, Dr. Wright accepted a position in Chicago, Illinois at Merritt & Associates Equine Hospital, a leading referral clinic for equine medicine, surgery, and lameness. In 2004, Dr. Wright moved to the central Virginia area, where she has developed strong client relationships through her dedication to excellent patient care and client service. Though the majority of her practice consists of lameness, dentistry, and preventive medicine, she enjoys all aspects of equine veterinary care. She is closely involved with the equine community, and frequently participates in local equine educational seminars.

In her spare time, she enjoys riding her horse, reading, and hiking with her husband and two golden retrievers.
